The Detroit Sportsmen’s Congress has a 131 acre campground located near Oxford, Michigan. The campground is nestled in a scenic northern Michigan setting on the 30 acre pristine Horseshoe Lake for your camping, swimming, and fishing enjoyment. Offered are 190 campsites with water, electricity (up to 50 amp service), showers, restrooms, and a dumping station.

Camp Information
Quiet Hours
We observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please keep voices, music, and electronic devices at a low volume during this timeframe to help maintain the tranquil atmosphere for all our guests.
Pet Responsibility
All pets must be kept on a leash at all times and are restricted from the beach and bathhouse facilities. For the comfort of everyone, we require owners to promptly clean up after their pets.
Campfire Safety
Fires must be contained within designated fire rings only. Never leave a campfire unattended, and ensure all embers are completely doused with water before sleeping or leaving your campsite.

Pricing and Volunteer Committment
Basic Fees Information:
Daily Lot Fees – Members $15.00 per night / Public $40.00 per night.
Seasonal Camping (Members Only)– with 75 volunteer hours $1,200.00
w/o volunteer hours $1,850.00
Seasonal Camping one time costs:
$100.00 refundable electrical deposit.
$250.00 refundable lot cleanup deposit.
Misc Fees
Summer guest fees – $5.00 per car / per day
Yearly boat fee – $25.00
Intent to camp Fee/Deposit
Due by October 31st each year $350.00
January 31st – with 75 volunteer hours $425.00 / w/o volunteer hours $750.00
March 31st – with 75 volunteer hours $425.00 / w/o volunteer hours $750.00
Please help us preserve our forest trails by following a leave-no-trace policy. All trash and recycling must be deposited in the provided bins located at the entrance station before departure.
